Assane Diao Injury: Taking specialistic tests

Diao "isn't training because of an issue related to his old injury. When something happens four months after a surgery, it's normal to worry. I can't say when he'll be back: we can choose either the long or the short road, but he has to be 100 percent when he's back. He didn't suffer a new fracture but has a problem where the plate has been inserted," coach Cesc Fabregas relayed.

Diao is completing a series of consultations with different doctors, and then he and the club will have a decision to make about how to best deal with the relapse. He's unlikely to play anytime soon.
