Batalla started for Rayo and conceded only from Oihan Sancet's 66th-minute penalty in Monday's defeat at San Mames. He made three saves on four shots on target faced as Athletic finished with 11 total attempts. Batalla remains without a clean sheet through two league starts this season and will look to improve when the club hosts Barcelona on Sunday.
