Fadiga is suffering from an ankle sprain and will miss the season opener against Auxerre on Sunday, according to Le Telegramme.

Fadiga is set to miss the first game of the Merlus back in the French top flight against Auxerre on Sunday as he is currently dealing with an ankle sprain and will very likely not make it for that match. He was reportedly fighting for a starting role heading into the 2025/26 campaign and will likely resume that push once fit. Until then, Aiyegun Tosin could see a bigger role in the frontline.
