Bashir Humphreys Injury: Still struggling

Humphreys (quadriceps) is struggling with a setback, per manager Scott Parker. "Bash is still struggling a little bit with an issue that he's got. He is on the grass, but things are moving pretty slowly with Bash, so we're just treading a little bit carefully and trying to get some work into him. "We're just monitoring that on a daily basis. But it's the same issue [as last season], it's an ongoing issue. He picked up his work and he had a little bit of a setback."

Humphreys finished the 2024/25 campaign on the sideline with a quadriceps issue and is still struggling with the same injury. It's not clear what the timeline for a return looks like for Humphreys. The defender has been slowly increasing his training load, but he hasn't even begun a pre-season program which means he's likely out for the opening weeks of the Premier League.
