Benjamin Pavard News: Shakes off ankle problem

Pavard (ankle) came off the bench during Sunday's pre-season game versus Inter U-23.

Pavard missed time during the FIFA Club World Cup due to an ankle injury, which had already bothered him earlier during the past season. He'll be heavily featured if he stays healthy despite the competition from Yann Aurel Bisseck and Matteo Darmian. He totaled 40 tackles, 30 interceptions, 102 clearances and 19 blocks in 35 games (29 starts) last year, contributing to 11 clean sheets.
