Bode Hidalgo News: Joins CF Montreal

Hidalgo has been acquired by CF Montreal from Real Salt Lake in exchange for $200,000 in 2025 general allocation money (GAM), plus a conditional amount of up to $150,000 in GAM and a second-round pick in the 2026 MLS Superdraft, his new club announced. Hidalgo made his MLS debut in 2022 with Real Salt Lake and has played 72 regular season matches with one goal and one assist. He featured in 18 matches during the 2024 season and will join Montreal as an option in the backline, mainly at right-back but also capable of playing higher on the right flank or as a center-back.
