Borja Iglesias News: Returns to Celta Vigo

Iglesias has signed a two-year contract with an additional one-year option with Celta Vigo, joining on a permanent move from Real Betis, the club announced.

Iglesias returns to where it all started for him as a professional as he reunites once again with Celta Vigo. The striker played a key role last season, helping bring European competition back to Vigo by scoring 11 goals while on loan from Real Betis. Iglesias will however need to compete for a starting role in the frontline heading into the 2025/26 season after Celta Vigo signed Ferran Jutgla over the summer.
