Bukayo Saka News: Illness leads to early exit

Saka exited Sunday's 1-0 win over Crystal Palce in the 66th minute due to illness, according to manager Mikel Arteta. "He's been ill, he hasn't trained really, so we didn't know whether he was going to be fit, so he made a big effort to be available today. The doctor was brilliant as well to guide us, to give us the best opportunity for him to be in the best possible condition, so he's managed to play a few minutes. The longer the game went on, the more he was going to fatigue and risk an injury, and we didn't want to take that risk."

Saka was an early exit from Sunday's match but it appears to be nothing to fear, as the attacker dealt with an illness and was not training fully this week, leaving the club to pull him from the match as a precaution. The good news for the club is it appears he shiuld be fine moving forward, with this a small hiccup. He should continue in his starting role moving forward, looking to add to his two goals this season.
