Chris Wood Injury: Eyeing Leeds for return
Wood (knee) is out for Saturday's match against Manchester United but is eyeing a return against Leeds United on Nov. 9, according to Jak Netting of Vavel. "[Chris] is possible for the Leeds game, but won't make this one.
Wood is still not going to make the call this week, but has at least received some positive news, as he is nearing a return and will look to be back in the team sheet next league match. After missing their past two games, this is positive for the club, as he is their typical forward when fit, bagging 20 goals in 36 appearances last season. Igor Jesus will likely see the start in his place once again while he recovers, starting in each of the club's past two games while Wood has been out, though Taiwo Awoniyi remains an option.
