Matsima scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Saturday's 3-1 victory over SC Freiburg. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 50th minute.

Matsima scored in the 42nd minute to double Augsburg's lead before halftime with his first goal in the season. The centerback also led his side in blocks (three) during the match. He did receive his first yellow card, though.
