Christian Mawissa Elebi Injury: Running light Tuesday

Mawissa (undisclosed) was spotted doing light runs on Tuesday, according to Vivien Seiller from Nice Matin.

Mawissa appears to be in the recovery phase of his injury but was seen doing only light running on Tuesday and did not take part in the first training session under new coach Sebastien Pocognoli. The center-back missed the last two games due to injury but had been a regular starter in the backline for the Diagonale before that. It remains to be seen if he will keep a similar role under the new coach or if Thilo Kehrer and Eric Dier will be ahead of him moving forward.
