Claudio Echeverri Injury: Loaned to Leverkusen

Echerverri (ankle) has been sent on loan to Leverkusen from Manchester City, according to his new club.

Echeverri is heading out on loan, as speculated, after joining City last season, with the attacker now in Germany with Leverkusen. The 19-year-old has only featured in a professional match twice for City to this point, with the club hoping the young talent can return, bidding for more time. He did see 50 appearances to go along with five goals and eight appearances while in Argentina, so he does have promise, likely to work into more of a rotational spot with Leverkusen.
