Dan-Axel Zagadou Injury: Suffers setback

Zagadou (knee) suffered a setback in his recovery, Stuttgart announced.

Zagadou departed training camp to begin individual rehab again after aggravating a knee injury. It's yet another issue for the already injury-plagued defender. He last appeared in a match in September 2024, and seems set to miss the Bundesliga opener. Even when fit Zagadou is unlikely to be anything more than a depth option.
