Daniel Arcila News: Moves to Leon

Arcila signed with Leon for the Apertura 2025 season after leaving Colombian side Envigado, his new team announced Monday.

Arcila will add a young option to the Panzas Verdes' attacking midfield, looking to maintain the high level at which he was playing in his country. The midfielder tallied six goals and an assist while averaging 1.5 shots and 2.2 chances created per game over 21 matches played in the Colombian league in 2025. He's a solid playmaker and set-piece taker, but it remains to be seen how big of a role he'll have in a squad that also includes specialist James Rodriguez.
