Ballard scored one goal to go with four shots (two on goal) in Saturday's 3-0 victory against West Ham United.

Ballard got out to a busy start with a header that missed the net in just the 7th minute, followed by a shot on target in the 44th, and another missed header early in the second half. However, he finally broke through with a header from the center of the box, following a corner in the 73rd minute. Another indication of the way in which Ballard kept the pressure on the opponent was his four fouls drawn in the match. He also did well to keep the danger away from his area with nine clearances.
