Danny Namaso News: Joins Auxerre on loan

Namaso has joined Auxerre on loan from FC Porto for the 2025/26 season, with an option to purchase, his new club announced.

Namaso was formed in Reading where he played his first professional minutes before joining FC Porto in 2020. The striker appeared in 106 games for the Dragoes, scoring 14 goals and providing 10 assists, winning multiple trophies in Portugal and featuring in European competitions. Namaso will now discover Ligue 1 and be a regular player in the starting squad of coach Christophe Pelissier, who said he can play both as a striker and as a number 10.
