David Lopez Injury: Suffers setback in recovery

Lopez (hamstring) suffered a setback in his recovery process and won't be able to return to the squad in the near future, manager Michel told media during Thursday's pre-match press conference. "David [Lopez] was progressing well, but he experienced pain this week and had to stop. Hopefully, it won't be too long before he's back in training with us."

Lopez is a solid depth piece for the defensive line, but it will be a few weeks at the very least before he's able to return to action. He wouldn't have been a starter even if healthy, though, as Daley Blind and Vitor Reis should continue to start at center-back as long as both remain healthy and available. Lopez is expected to be reevaluated in a couple of weeks to determine his progress.
