Campillo is expected to be sidelined for 2-3 months after fracturing the fifth metatarsal in his left foot, Juan Manuel Figueroa of Milenio reports.

Campillo suffered significant damage during the derby victory against Atlas, which appears likely to rule him out for the remainder of 2025. He was a consistent starter throughout the season, scoring one goal while averaging 2.3 clearances and 1.4 interceptions per game across 15 league appearances on the right side of a three-man back line. There are various players who could compete for his place in the lineup, including Daniel Aguirre, Gilberto Sepulveda and Miguel Tapias.
