Donny van de Beek Injury: Six months out confirmed

Van de Beek (Achilles) has been discharged from hospital and will miss six months, Girona confirmed.

Van de Beek is set to miss six months after suffering a ruptured Achilles. That's about as quick of a recovery as possible for this injury, and is a good sign the surgery went to plan. He wasn't playing a big role prior to the injury, but his absence will leave Girona lacking in depth, with Azzedine Ounahi likely in line for a larger role.
