Luiz joins Nottingham Forest after a poor season outside of England, linking up as another defensive midfield option . He struggled during his one season in Italy, playing just 516 minutes and failing to register a goal involvement. In previous seasons in the Premier League he's shown the talent to be a true difference-maker, scoring nine times and adding five assists in 35 starts during his final season. He has the talent to immediate take on a starting role in the midfield three for Forest.
