McGuire missed all games since late May due to a shoulder injury but finally made his return on Wednesday at the very end of the match against Inter Miami in the Leagues Cup. This is good news for the Lions as it provides an additional option in the frontline for coach Oscar Pareja, although McGuire will likely remain in a bench role just like at the start of the season.
