Edier Ocampo News: Sent off against San Jose

Ocampo was shown a red card in the first half of Saturday's clash with San Jose Earthquakes.

Ocampo's performance lasted only 27 minutes as he had a couple of fouls penalized with yellow cards, leaving his team with 10 men for the rest of the match. He'll now be suspended for the Aug. 17 fixture against Houston Dynamo before becoming eligible again for a subsequent meeting with St. Louis. Tate Johnson came off the bench shortly after the Colombian's exit, so he should be his likeliest replacement while he serves the ban.
