Everardo Lopez Injury: Called up by Mexico U20

Lopez is traveling to Chile as part of the Mexican Under-20 World Cup squad, so he won't be an option for Toluca in upcoming contests.

Lopez will be unavailable for multiple games, limiting his side's defensive assets until the youth competition ends sometime in October. However, he's no longer a starter after seeing significant action only in the initial five Apertura weeks. Both Federico Pereira and Bruno Mendez will most likely remain the usual center-back pairing, and perhaps Antonio Briseno will feature off the bench in Lopez's absence.
