Fabian Schar News: Records four interceptions

Schar logged four interceptions, three shots (zero on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) during Newcastle United's 0-0 draw Saturday at Aston Villa.

For the most part, Aston Villa offensively stumbled, and Schar had much to do with Villa's offensive problems. Villa turned the ball over almost 10 times, and he was primarily responsible for nearly half of them. Schar will look to build off a strong 2024-25 season, which includes 133 clearances, 45 interceptions, 25 blocks and 20 tackles won.
