Esposito played in Sunday's game versus Inter U-23.

Esposito picked up a mild muscular injury during the FIFA Club World Cup, but it wasn't too severe. He's currently slated to serve as the fourth or fifth striker behind Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram and Ange-Yoan Bonny after a breakout season at Spezia.
