Franco Cervi Injury: Not available for opener

Cervi (calf) is not available for Sunday's clash against Getafe as the game comes too soon for him,coach Claudio Giraldez said in the press conference, according to Mundo Celeste. "It's too early for them (Aidoo and Cervi). The rest are available, unless the doctors tell us otherwise, now, with the setbacks we've had."

Cervi has been cleared from the hospital and is training partially with the team, but the opener against Getafe on Sunday comes too soon for him and he will ultimately miss it. That said, he is expected to have a rotational role this season, therefore his absence does not impact the starting XI.
