Franco Mastantuono Injury: Dealt injury

Mastantuono suffered an injury after coming off in the 75th minute of Saturday's 3-1 win over Villarreal, according to manager Xabi Alonso. "We can't say that they won't go with the national teams. They'll have to be assessed there and we hope it doesn't get any worse. They have minor injuries and I can't say any more than that."

Mastantuono was taken off the field late and could now be dealing with an injury, possibly limiting him as they enter the international break. That said, he is questionable to travel with his national team, instead possibly staying in Madrid to focus on recovery. He will have around two weeks to recover, with their next match against Getafe on Oct. 19.
