Hugo Cuypers News: Opens scoring Saturday

Cuypers scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal) in Saturday's 3-2 win over St. Louis City SC.

Cuypers put Chicago ahead in the 16th minute by finishing Andrew Gutman's low cross after a pass from Brian Gutierrez. He also went close deep into stoppage time with a rising effort over the bar. The Belgian forward's goal was his 15th of the 2025 MLS season, which is five more than his first season in the league despite playing six fewer games. Cuypers has now scored three goals in his last four matches and will look to carry that form into Saturday's clash with Philadelphia.
