Ilias Akhomach Injury: Receives medical clearance

Akhomach (knee) has received the medical clearance on Friday, the club announced.

Akhomach suffered an ACL injury in 2024 and finally received medical clearance on Friday, meaning he will be able to see some minutes before the start of the 2025/26 La Liga campaign. This is good news for Villarreal, although he will have to compete for the starting role he had prior to his injury since Yeremi Pino and Nicolas Pepe are now solid starters on the wings for the yellow submarine.
