Ismael Landry Doukoure News: Excluded from squad

Doukoure has been excluded from Strasbourg's senior squad after refusing to sign a contract extension with the club, L'Equipe reports.

Doukoure refused to sign a contract extension with the club as his deal runs until 2026, and was therefore excluded from the senior squad and sent to train with the reserve squad with immediate effect. This is big news from Alsace since he was a regular starter in the backline last season, and it would mean that newcomer Lucas Hogsberg is set to play a larger role from the start under coach Liam Rosenior.
