Ivan Jaime News: Signs DP contract with Montreal

Jaime completed a permanent transfer from FC Porto to CF Montreal on a Designated Player contract, his new club announced Friday.

Jaime spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Valencia, but he registered nine appearances and two starts without making a real impact. However, his passing ability and vision should make him an impact player right away in the MLS. Montreal needed a playmaker after Caden Clark's departure to DC United, and Jaime should fill that void with ease.
