Jackson Irvine Injury: Recovering well

Irvine (foot) traveled to St. Pauli's pre-season camp in Austria, per manager Alexandre Blessin.

Irvine was included in St. Pauli's pre-season training camp and is recovering well. The midfielder underwent a foot surgery at the end of last season, finishing with 29 starts. He should be in for a big role when he gets fit, but he's a doubt for an Aug. 23 season opener against Borussia Dortmund. Lars Ritzka could start the opener if Irvine isn't fully fit.
