Jacob Jackson News: Joins FC Dallas
Jackson was acquired by FC Dallas from San Diego FC in exchange for a natural third-round pick in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft, the club announced.
Jackson began the 2025 season with San Diego FC after the expansion side selected him in Stage 1 of the 2024 MLS Re-Entry Draft. He made three regular season appearances and featured in one U.S. Open Cup match for the San Jose Earthquakes in 2024 before joining San Diego. Jackson is expected to serve as a backup goalkeeper behind the undisputed starter Maarten Paes at FC Dallas.
