James Rodriguez Injury: Could return as substitute
Rodriguez (undisclosed) has made progress in his recovery and will likely be a bench option Saturday versus Pachuca, Paco Montes of FOX reports.
Rodriguez stayed out of the last two league games due to the injury, before which he tallied five shots (four on goal), 12 crosses (two accurate) and one goal over 208 minutes of play. The star midfielder will aim to play a role, most likely in the second half, in the sixth Apertura match. He could be included either as a right winger in Jordi Cortizo's place, or in a No. 10 spot over Fernando Beltran. Additionally, Rodriguez will be expected to take most set pieces when he's on the pitch.
