James Rodriguez Injury: Set to miss Necaxa game

Rodriguez (undisclosed) didn't travel with the team as he continued to struggle with muscular problems prior to the weekend's trip to Necaxa, Paco Montes of FOX reported Thursday.

Rodriguez is expected to remain out for a second straight match, but the club has yet to release official information about his injury. The playmaker, who has scored once in 208 minutes of league play this season, is a difficult man to replace in the Lions' formation, but his absence will likely allow both Jordi Cortizo and Fernando Beltran to play some role while benefitting from set pieces in upcoming contests.
