Jamie Leweling Injury: Leaves German national team

Leweling (groin) has left the German National team camp due to injury, according to the DFB.

Leweling will take the cautious route after suffering an adductor injury and training individually this week, as the attacker will not risk himself any longer with the national team and will instead return to his club. He will now focus on recovering over the week, potentially returning to play when they face Wolfsburg on Saturday. The attacker has started in seven of his eight appearances this season while bagging three goals, so they will hope a return is near.
