Javi Rodriguez Injury: Fit for opener

Rodriguez (nose) is back available for Sunday's opener against Getafe since he wasn't mentioned in the injury report by coach Claudio Giraldez in the press conference, according to Mundo Celeste. "The rest are available, unless the doctors tell us otherwise, now, with the setbacks we've had."

Rodriguez suffered a broken nose in late July but has since recovered and is available for Sunday's opener against Getafe. The defender is even expected to return directly to the starting lineup on the right side of the back three for that game. That said, if the coach considers him not fit enough to start, Yoel Lago will likely replace him in the starting lineup.
