Jens Stage Injury: Set to miss opener

Stage (foot) is expected to miss the season opener with a foot injury, Bild reports.

Stage has been struggling with a foot injury throughout pre-season and is now expected to miss the season opener. The midfielder would be a major blow if ruled out against Frankfurt on Aug. 23. He made 28 appearances (26 starts) last season, scoring 10 goals and adding five assists. Senne Lynen could get the start in the opener if Stage isn't available for that clash.
