Jeremy Nosakhare Agbonifo News: Loaned to FC Basel

Agbonifo has joined FC Basel 1893 on loan from RC Lens for the 2025/26 season with a purchase option included, his parent club announced.

Agbonifo arrived at Lens in January and played eight Ligue 1 matches, scoring one goal. The forward was set for very limited playing time this season as new coach Pierre Sage did not include him in his plans. Agbonifo will now move to Switzerland where he hopes to earn more minutes alongside former Bayern star Xherdan Shaqiri.
