Sarmiento "is nursing some fatigue and will continue practicing rather than being called up for Sunday," coach Davide Nicola relayed.

Sarmiento had a subpar summer because he was on his way out and sustained a mild injury shortly after making his Serie A debut. Dennis Johnsen will deputize Jari Vandeputte in this one.
