Joachim Andersen News: Good defensive contributions

Andersen recorded three tackles (two won), four clearances and one interception in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Brighton.

Andersen led Fulham with three tackles, four clearances and one interception in a robust 90-minute shift. He also drew three fouls as Fulham limited Brighton to 10 total shots. The Dane started at center-back alongside Jorge Cuenca with Calvin Bassey at left-back to replace both Ryan Sessegnon and Antonee Robinson still sidelined. Andersen is expected to be a solid contributor in his second season since returning to Craven Cottage as he will likely be the leader of the central defense.
