Joao Paulo Injury: Could be available next week
Paulo (knee) could be back available next week, coach Brian Schmetzer said to the media, according to Jackson Felts of 93.3 KJR radio.
Paulo has missed the last eight MLS games due to a knee injury that required a minor surgery for a meniscus clean-up. The veteran midfielder has been participating in training for the past two weeks and is expected to be back available next week either for the game against Inter Miami midweek or against Austin next Sunday. That said, he had only a rotational role prior to his injury and will likely find that role again for the final stretch of the season when fit.
