Joao Paulo Injury: Expected back on field Thursday
Paulo (knee) is expected to be back on the field on Thursday, coach Brian Schmetzer said in a press conference, according to Niko Moreno of Pulso Sports.
Paulo missed the last six MLS games due to a knee injury that turned out to be less serious than expected, as a torn ACL was ruled out. He underwent surgery in late July for a meniscus clean-up and is nearing the end of his recovery, with a return to the training pitch expected on Thursday. That said, his timeline for return is yet to be confirmed.
