Gorrotxategi (ankle) is likely to be available for Sunday's clash against Espanyol, coach Sergio Francisco said in the press conference. "He had a nasty twitch with his ankle, but in the end it wasn't a big deal. Friday, the first day he's been back with the team. We were all waiting for him to do it. We tried last week, but it wasn't possible. We've done tests so that when he joins the group, he'd be ready. We haven't decided, but I think he's ready to be called up."

Gorrotxategi suffered an ankle injury last week that kept him out of the season opener against Valencia on Saturday. The issue was only minor as the midfielder returned to team training on Friday. Gorrotxategi will likely be available for Sunday's clash against Espanyol to play his first minutes in a Real Sociedad shirt. That said, if he has to miss the call, Benat Turrientes will likely replace him again in the midfield.
