Jonathan Bond News: Beaten twice by Austin

Bond recorded two saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Austin FC.

Bond could've done a bit more on the sequence that led to Ilie Sanchez's goal, but there was nothing he could've done on Guilherme Biro's strike. The veteran goalkeeper looked much improved in the second half, though, and he responded time and time again to allow Houston to snatch a point. Bond has gone five straight matches without a clean sheet while giving up multiple goals three times in that span, so he's far from being a reliable fantasy option in most formats.
