Corona remained active until the age of 44 after serving for Atlas, Tecos, Cruz Azul and Xolos. He's considered one of the five best Mexican goalkeepers of recent times, boasting a 2012 Olympic gold medal as his greatest achievement. Overall, he logged 924 goals against and 224 clean sheets over 753 club matches played.
