Jose Ignacio Rivero Injury: Recovering from knock

Rivero is trying to be ready for Friday's clash against Bravos after suffering a head injury in the previous week, about which manager Nicolas Larcamon said Wednesday that "Nacho was only able to return to training today. Obviously, it was a very severe blow; he needed 12 stitches".

Rivero shouldn't be out for a long period with this issue, but he might not make a full appearance Friday. As the captain and one of the most influential players on the squad, Rivero would be a major absence for La Maquina. He played the last few games in a central attacking midfield role, so his place could be taken by Mateusz Bogusz or Angel Marquez.
