Joseph Aidoo Injury: Too early to comeback

Aidoo (calf) is not available for Sunday's clash against Getafe as the game comes too soon for him, coach Claudio Giraldez said in the press conference, according to Mundo Celeste. "It's too early for them (Aidoo and Cervi). The rest are available, unless the doctors tell us otherwise, now, with the setbacks we've had."

Aidoo has been training partially in recent weeks after suffering a calf injury during pre-season, but he is not fit enough to return for the season opener against Getafe on Sunday as the game comes too soon for him. That said, Aidoo is expected to hold only a rotational role this season, therefore his absence will not impact the starting squad.
