Joseph Paintsil Injury: Goal before injury

Paintsil was injured and subbed out in the 89th minute of Saturday's 2-1 victory against Minnesota United. He scored one goal to go with four shots (two on goal) before exiting the match.

Even though Paintsil needed the entire 2025 MLS season, it will include his double-digit goals. Unfortunately for him, an undisclosed injury took him out just one minute before he could log a full 90. In 25 appearances (22 starts) this season, Paintsil logged 12 G/A via 10 goals and two assists. Though the G/A is a significant downgrade from his 22 last season, he can be somewhat forgiven for his injury-caused fewer appearances, which were 34 a year ago.
