Kai Havertz Injury: Set for further testing

Havertz (knee) is set for further testing on his knee injury, according to manager Mikel Arteta, per Art de Roche of The Athletic. "He's certainly not fit for this match. Unfortunately, he picked up an injury, we don't know the extent of it. We need time and more tests. After that, we will have more clarity about the next steps."

Havertz is going to need more time to truly identify his injury, with the attacker now heading for more testing on the recent injury. The hope is that it will give them a clearer path, knowing how long his return to play will take. It is still expected he misses at least the next month, leaving Victor Gyokeres as the main forward.
